Welcome to AwwalPay — a digital payments app built for seamless, secure transactions in Saudi Arabia. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Introduction
These End-User Terms (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AwwalPay mobile application and related services (collectively, “Services”) provided by Awwal Pay Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Eligibility
To use AwwalPay, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a resident of Saudi Arabia
- Have a valid mobile number and bank account with a supported financial institution
3. Use of the App
You may use AwwalPay for:
- Making payments to businesses (C2B)
- Receiving refunds or incentives from businesses (B2C)
- Viewing transaction history and linked account information
You agree not to misuse the app, including for illegal transactions, fraud, or any activity that violates SAMA regulations.
4. Bank Account Linking
By linking your bank account, you authorize us to access and retrieve account information on your behalf through SAMA Open Banking APIs.
We do not store your banking credentials.
5. User Information
You agree to provide accurate personal information. If you register using Facebook or another platform, we may use identifiers (like your Facebook user ID) in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
7. Liability
We are not liable for:
- Delays or failures caused by your bank or third-party providers
- Losses arising from unauthorized access due to your negligence
- Transactions made in error or without sufficient balance
8. Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to AwwalPay if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of AwwalPay after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
